GREENE COUNTY, Ind. — A Solsberry man was arrested Sunday after he ran from authorities who were responding to a trespassing complaint in Greene County.
The suspect, 50-year-old Gregory Johnson, was seen leaving the area in a gray Volkswagen sedan. Authorities also recognized Johnson as someone who had active warrants for dealing methamphetamine.
An Indiana State Police trooper located the sedan in the area of State Road 45 and State Road 445; however, when he attempted to approach the vehicle, Johnson ran, initiating a foot chase through a residential neighborhood. Johnson was eventually taken into custody after falling.
Johnson was transported to the Greene County Jail. He faces charges for resisting law enforcement as well as several drug-related offenses.
