VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A single car westbound on I-70 near the 12-mile marker went into the median for unknown reasons Tuesday afternoon, rolled several times and came to an abrupt stop in the eastbound lanes, resulting in one person being transported to the hospital with injuries, Sgt. Matt Ames, Indiana State Police Public Information Officer, reported.
Lifeline was on the scene and a wrecker removed the vehicle. The emergency lane was open to traffic, but the entire Interstate has reopened.
This is a developing story and will be updated as events warrant.
