TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Shephardsville teen was sentenced to seven years in prison Thursday on charges stemming from a reported rape that occurred last year.
Davis R. Atterson, 18, pleaded guilty to criminal confinement and sexual battery, and the Court dismissed charges of rape and domestic battery against him.
He was sentenced to five years on the charge of criminal confinement and another two years on the charge of sexual battery. The sentences will be served consecutively.
Atterson was given 389 days credit for time served in jail and on home detention.
