VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Four people were injured, two with life-threatening injuries, after a car drove into the path of a semi in Vermillion County Friday night. The crash occurred around 9 p.m. at the intersection of SR 63 and CR 1650N.

According to witness reports, the driver of the car, identified as Nathan Harper, 20, of Williamsport, signaled to make a right-hand turn into a gas station parking lot; however, he then made an abrupt left turn attempting to cross SR 63. The car crossed into the path of an oncoming semi and was T-boned.

Harper had to be extricated from the vehicle. Lifeline was unavailable, so all four occupants were transported to area hospitals. Harper and a front-seat passenger sustained life-threatening injuries. No updates on their conditions are available at this time.
