TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — An incident that caused a semi-truck to rollover near the 7 mile marker of I-70 westbound near Terre Haute has caused traffic to slow as crews clean up the area.

According to Indiana State Police Sgt. Matt Ames, the crash caused the closure of the westbound passing lane. Ames said the driver of the semi was uninjured in the incident.

Drivers are asked to seek alternate routes to avoid the traffic backup. The traffic and wreck could be seen on one of WTWO/WAWV’s Skywatch Network tower camera.

“Expect long delays in the area,” Ames said.

As of 12:00 p.m., Sgt. Matt Ames reports that the scene has been cleared and both lanes have been opened up.
