CLARK COUNTY, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — Update: The Clark County Coroner has identified the man killed in an accident in which his Semi-tractor-trailer hauling live turkeys overturned after attempting to execute a curve on Angling Road.

Coroner Jeff Pearce said the man who died was 26-year-old Ken Kahre from Vincennes, Indiana.


Original: A semi-truck driver was pronounced dead on the scene after the truck hauling live turkeys overturned at the intersection of Angling Road near Harley Road in Clark County.

According to Illinois State Police’s Public Information Officer, on Sunday, June 11, around 11:30 p.m., the semi-driver was attempting to take a left curve at Angling Road and Harley Road when the semi-truck and trailer exited on the right side of the road and overturned. 

No further information including the identity of the driver has been released at this time.
