PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A semi-driver was charged with OVWI after being involved in an accident with an SUV on U.S. 41 on Monday.
According to a release from the Parke County Sheriff’s Office, around 3:30 p.m. local law enforcement responded to the area of U.S. 41 and Cooke Road for a two-vehicle accident.
During the investigation, deputies took the driver of the semi, Chris Kelly, 42, of Carbon, in for chemical testing in which the results showed a BAC higher than .08%.
Kelly was then booked into the Parke County Jail.
