TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Attention artists! You could be involved in an effort to create a new public sculpture at a Terre Haute park.

Art Spaces, Inc. is seeking an artist or a team of artists to create work for Herz-Rose Park. The revitalization is a cooperative project between the city of Terre Haute and Lands Steward Design Group.

The park is located in the Ryves neighborhood.

The organization would like the installation to be in place during 2023. It’s all part of an initiative to re-imagine the park.

“Having a place for community and a place that is inviting in your area, in your town, in your neighborhood is something that just increases the quality of life,” Executive Director of Art Spaces, Inc. Ally Midgley said.

Folks looking to be a part of the project can apply through July 29 at this link.
