VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Officials with Belle Tire have confirmed that a second Terre Haute location is in the works.

According to Ray Turner the Director of Retail Operations with Belle Tire, the company anticipates breaking ground this summer. The new location will be in front of the new Hobby Lobby and the future home of Rural King off US 41. Turner said it will be housed where the old Kmart gas station had been previously.

A Belle Tire spokesperson confirmed the planned groundbreaking for the summer and said they hope to have the store open to customers by early 2024.

“Belle Tire appreciates the Zoning Board’s consideration and work.  We are pleased to bring a new location to the Terre Haute community,” a Belle Tire spokesperson said regarding recent developments during a Board of Zoning Appeals meeting.
