Salvation Army in Terre Haute gives update on Red Kettle campaign

Local News

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Salvation Army in Terre Haute says it’s about halfway to its goal in the Red Kettle campaign.

The goal is to raise $120,000 and so far the organization has raised around $63,500.

The Salvation Army uses the money all year to fund many services it provides to local families in need.

Envoy Sue Linden says she is confident that with the community’s help, they can reach their goal.

“I’m hopeful. I really am. We’re catching up. We’re building up some momentum and I really give all the credit to the community,” says Linden.

The Salvation Army is also looking for volunteer bellringers. People who are interested can register online.
