WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WAWV/WTWO) – Saturday Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College honored 300 graduates in the 188th Commencement Ceremony.
The ceremony highlighted many notable achievements such as the colleges first bachelors degree in kinesiology and first associates degree in paramedic science.
Jessica Boland was among the 300 to earn her degree, as she earned her masters of science in nursing. Boland said it could’ve been more rewarding.
“I’m really excited to be here today and honored to be able to give the graduation speech,” Boland said. ” My favorite part has been connecting with my cohort of nurse practitioners.”
Graduates for the spring ceremony came form 30 different states and three foreign countries.
