Wednesday, a Rose-Hulman alumnus’ dedication to the school was recognized with the naming of a new building.
Staff and students at Rose-Hulman celebrated the dedication of the Kremer Innovation Center.
The center is named after Rose alumnus Richard Kremer and his wife Shirley for their contributions to the school.
Rose-Hulman president Robert Coons said the center will allow students to apply what they learned in the classroom to real life.
“Mr. Kremer and his family have been so generous in terms of financial support that enabled us to construct this facility, which really links the heart of the educational experience and the the classroom to the hands-on experience, that we pride ourselves in,” Coons said.
The Kremer Innovation Center offers a fabrication and thermofluids lab.
