Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology has appointed Tyler D. Kearney, PhD, as the new Vice President and Chief Business Officer. Kearney will be serving on President Robert A. Coons’ administrative cabinet as well as supporting the overall fiscal and operative oversight of the university.
“Tyler’s experiences will be valuable in helping us continue establishing and then implementing initiatives within the Institute’s long-range strategic plan that build upon our past successes and meet future higher education challenges,” President Coons said.
Kearney’s career in higher education leadership began at the University of Illinois in the Office of Planning and Budgeting. Recently he spent several years in Baton Rouge as Associate Vice President of Finance and Administration for Louisiana State University.
