ROCKVILLE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Rockville man was arrested by Parke County Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday and has been charged with dealing methamphetamine.

Deputies said they pulled over David Gregg, 37, near the corner of Martin and Hughes streets May 18 to serve a warrant for methamphetamine possession. While Gregg was being taken into custody for the Parke County warrant, a police dog found a backpack with marijuana, meth and heroin near the stop location that reportedly belonged to him, police said.

Following the discovery of the bag, Parke County deputies and Rockville police received a search warrant for Gregg’s Rockville apartment. Inside, officers said they found more drugs and paraphernalia belonging to Gregg.

Gregg is facing charges of methamphetamine dealing as well as other narcotics related offenses.
