CLAY COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Update: as of 12:02 p.m. all eastbound lanes are clear.
Original: Indiana State Police are reporting long delays in traffic on I-70 near Brazil.
According to ISP Sgt. Matt Ames, the cause of the backup is due to a combination of road construction, and two semi tractor-trailers off the roadway. The backup begins near mile marker 25 just east of the Brazil exit and is affecting both eastbound and westbound lanes.
There is no word on how long the delay is expected to last.
