UPDATE: The roadway has re-opened. The Duke Energy outage map reports power has been restored to all customers.
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A portion of Rio Grande Ave near its intersection with N Miami Gardens St. is closed due to a vehicle crash.
Vigo County Dispatch confirmed that the vehicle hit a pole in the area.
The Duke Energy outage map is currently reporting over 500 outages in the Fontanet area.
Dispatch said that it’s unknown how long the road will be closed.
