The Indiana Department of Transportation will soon begin railroad crossing repairs on U.S. 41 near Sullivan.
Beginning on or around Saturday, contractors will close the northbound lanes of U.S. 41 for railroad crossing repairs.
The repairs are expected to take about three days.
Railroad crews will close the southbound lanes April 20 to complete the crossing repairs.
By using the existing median crossovers, traffic will still be able to flow in one lane both north and southbound.
The entire project is scheduled to wrap up by April 23 depending upon weather conditions.
During the project, restrictions will be in place around the clock. INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
