TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A local effort to make sure Vigo County children have bicycles received some help on Wednesday.
Walmart donated $2,500 to Chances and Services For Youth’s Bikes for Tykes program.
The goal of the program is to ensure all children get to experience receiving their first bicycle.
CASY says Walmart has partnered with the program for several years, providing bikes at a discount, donating funds, and staff volunteers.
