Pro bass fisherman to visit Terre Haute for meet and greet event

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Professional fisherman Mike DelVisco will be visiting two Indiana Texas Roadhouse locations later this month, including one in Terre Haute, Ind., to share fishing tips, answer questions and sign autographs.

Event attendees can even register to win a fishing prize package including a selection of Yamamoto baits, lures from Rapala, VMC and Sufix fishing line, Prym1 Camo sunglasses and other items valued at over $200.

Before visiting Terre Haute, DelVisco will stop in Southport, Ind. for a meet and greet event. The following day, on Thursday, Oct. 21, he will visit Terre Haute from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for an event at the Texas Roadhouse located at 201 E. Turner Street.

With over 35 years of bass fishing experience, DelVisco is a full-time time professional angler. Currently, he competes on the Bassmaster and Major League Fishing Big 5 Series.

DelVisco is a 2007 and 2008 Grand Slam and 2009 Bassmaster Series National Championship qualifier, multiple time Regional Championship qualifier and winner at the FLW BFL Super Tournament on Old Hickory Lake.

In addition to competing, DelVisco is a former Bassmaster University instructor and continues to teach seminars at popular sport shows nationwide. He writes for many online and print publications and hosts several online broadcasts, including The Outdoor Showcase, on the Pride Outdoor Network.
