TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A local church is once again putting on a very popular Easter event this Saturday.
Remnant Church spent Thursday preparing for its drive-through Easter candy giveaway.
The event will take place Saturday at the Vigo County Fairgrounds from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.. The church has thousands of pounds of candy to give to children.
Lead pastor Brendan Norman says the event was very successful last year, and lots of people are looking forward to it again this year.
“It’s going to be a fun time,” said Norman. “The weather is going to be kind of cool, but we’re going to make sure that when they drive through this, its going to be an experience they’ve never had, lots of big candy.”
Norman adds that this event is the church’s way of sharing love with the community.
Organizers ask that participants enter the property from Jones Road in order to participate. For more information about Remnant Church and its events visit this link.
