Police are looking for the person driving a truck that hit a pedestrian in Jasonville Monday.
According to the Jasonville Police Department, the crash happened on Main and Horace Streets. The driver was seen leaving town headed westbound at a high rate of speed just after 9 p.m. Monday night.
A grainy photo of the vehicle was released on the Jasonville Police Department Facebook page. The truck is believed to be a 1980s-1990s Ford F-150, possibly grey in color.
“This is a terrible accident, and it’s understandable that the driver is scared,” Jasonville police wrote in a Facebook post. “But, we will identify the driver, and the longer this is drawn out, the more difficult it will be to continue to call it an accident!”
