Police respond to alleged armed robbery at Terre Haute gas station

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Terre Haute Police Department officers responded around 7 a.m. Tuesday morning to the Marathon Gas Station at 13 and Locust Streets in reference to an armed robbery, a THPD Facebook post said.

The suspect allegedly entered the gas station, waved a handgun and robbed the clerk for an unknown amount of money. The suspect then allegedly fled before the police showed up, the post said.
