TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Police said a woman has died after she was shot Saturday afternoon in Terre Haute.

According to Terre Haute Police, 27-year-old Kristen L. Gregg was shot at her home in the 1400 block of Grand Avenue. Gregg was taken to a nearby hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Steven Rickard, 33, of Terre Haute has been charged with reckless homicide, serious violent felon in possession of a firearm and possession of methamphetamine, Police Chief Shawn Keen said.

The investigation is ongoing.
