VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Vincennes man who had a felony warrant for his arrest has been captured after police forcibly entered his home when he refused to exit.
According to Vincennes Police, the incident occurred on Monday, May 1 when they became aware that wanted felon Kimberly Clark Jr, 48, was staying at a residence in the 1000 block of E. Sycamore Street in Vincennes.
Clark was wanted for failure to return to lawful detention, a level 6 felony.
When police arrived at the residence and attempted to contact Clark, they said he refused to exit the building.
A search warrant was granted allowing police to forcibly enter the residence. Police said they then were able to place Clark under arrest without further incident.
Clark was then booked into the Knox County Jail.
