KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– One person was hospitalized after crashing a stolen vehicle into a police cruiser during a pursuit Friday night in Knox County.
According to a release from Indiana State Police Sgt. Todd Ringle, police engaged a 36-year-old suspect from Washington in a chase involving a stolen car. An ISP trooper was outside of their car deploying stop sticks when the suspect crashed into the cruiser. The trooper did not suffer any serious injuries, while the driver of the stolen car was taken to the hospital.
The suspect’s name was not released at this time, and charges are pending. We will update this article when more information becomes available.
