Indiana State Police arrest the husband of a former daycare operator for child molestation.

64-year-old Michael Nussbaum of Greencastle is facing eight counts of child molesting.

The investigation began in May of 2014 when Putnam County Department of Child Services contacted the ISP Putnamville Post for criminal investigation assistance.

Authorities say Nussbaum allegedly molested three female victims in 2006 and 2007 at or near his residence.

Police say the victims were between the ages of 4 and 7 at the time and attended his wife’s non-licensed, in-home daycare operation.

His wife no longer conducts a daycare center.

Nussbaum is being held in the Putnam County Jail.
