TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Sullivan restaurant is opening an additional location in the former Clabber Girl Bakeshop in downtown Terre Haute.

“We are super excited, we’re going to be in the Hulman building in the former Clabber Girl Bakeshop,” Jen Petty, owner of Petty Pit Stop said. “It’s such a beautiful space, they did wonderful things with it, we’re really excited to try and continue what they started,” she added.

Petty Pit Stop focuses on fresh food. Serving up sandwiches, gourmet mac and cheese, grain bowls, and much more. They also offer several options for those with dietary restrictions, including some gluten-free and vegan options.

“We like to give people a little bit of variety and some fresher ingredients in fun comfort food,” Petty said. “We will have a coffee bar, We will be bringing some smoothies and smoothie bowls from the Juicy Location,” she added.

Petty said they are excited to add that local bakeries will be providing all of the bread to the restaurant.

“I just hope it’s a fun environment for people to come to eat and hang out,” Petty said.

Petty Pit Stop of Terre Haute Plans to open early this summer. Their hours will be from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
