VIGO COUNTY, Ind.( WTWO/WAWV)- Interstate 70 is back open after a semi accident involving a pedestrian forced the interstate to close for a time Friday morning.
A person, 43-year-old Shawn Fogt, was walking across I-70 when they were struck by the vehicle, according to Matt Ames with Indiana State Police.
The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital, and according to Ames, the pedestrian suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The eastbound lanes of I-70 were closed but are now back open. WTWO will keep you up-to-date as more information gather.
