TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Friday evening, Lost Creek Elementary held the 7th annual Glow Run Fundraiser.

Hundreds of community members, came out to support the local elementary school. The school closed hunt road and lined the road with milk jugs, that glow, along with arches and many glow sticks.
There were two events for participants to choose from, a 1 mile fun run, and a 3k run/walk.

Race Director Kyle Kirchner said this event is a great way to support Lost Creek’s students.

“The fifth grade field trip, we like to keep costs as low as possible. Our kids get really excited about taking a charter bus. That’s is a really big expense now a days gas prices and so. We like to keep that cost down to keep it affordable to every student,” Kirchner said.

The glow run benefits the Lost Creek 5th grade field trip to Indianapolis, running club, and their backpack program which helps to provide weekend nutrition to students.
