PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Parke County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in finding more information about a vehicle that reportedly struck a power pole along Rosedale Road over the weekend.
According to a release from Sheriff Jason Frazier, deputies with his department were made aware of the downed pole after another driver ran over and got their Kia stuck on it at 3 a.m. Saturday. The incident occurred just east of the town of Rosedale.
Sheriff Frazier said the pole had been in the roadway due to an earlier incident in which a vehicle struck the pole, caused it to fall, and then left the scene without reporting the crash.
Frazier said it’s believed that the vehicle was maroon in color. He’s asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 765-569-5413.
