PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Kingman man was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a property damage accident just after 3:00 a.m. on Saturday.
According to a release from the Parke County Sheriff’s Office, local law enforcement received reports of a reckless driver in Lodi who had run into a stop sign at SR 234 and Monroe Street and then left the scene and drove to a nearby residence.
Deputies were able to locate the driver, identified as 24-year-old Nicholas E. McConnell who according to the release, “appeared to be under the influence” at his residence.
McConnell was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. McConnell was taken to the Parke County Jail.
