CLINTON, Ind. — Nearly a year an officer involved shooting in Clinton, a Paris, Illinois man received a six-year sentence for felony battery and driving under the influence.
Craig R. Borodach, 49, was arrested in March of 2019 after driving toward a Clinton police officer during DUI stop, pinning the officer against his car. Borodach was stopped when the officer shot and injured him.
He was convicted last month on one count of felony battery against a public official resulting in bodily injury as well as two counts of driving under the influence.
His sentence includes four years in the Indiana Department of Corrections followed by two years of formal probation.
