TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — WTWO once again teamed up with area businesses and asked residents to donate non-perishable food items to help students in need this summer.

WTWO staff members and volunteers met at Toyota of Terre Haute Wednesday morning and stuffed more than 250 backpacks with things like cereal, peanut butter and fruit cups.

The backpacks were given to the Vigo County School Corporation for distribution.
