TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – WTWO and WAWV once again teamed up with the Terre Haute Humane Society for the Annual Tail-A-Thon.

After three hours of phones ringing off the hook, the Humane Society was able to raise over $46,000 by the end of the evening, blasting through their goal of $26,000.
Volunteer coordinator Maggie Wheeler said the Humane Society is grateful for the community’s continued support.

“You’ve seen the stories that we’ve had on some of the animals but just the condition that they’ve come in I mean, this money is life-saving. It is literally life-saving you know we can’t. We can’t take care of these animals without the support of the community,” Maggie said.

Donations can still be contributed by visiting the shelter’s website at thhs.org.
