CLAY COUNTY (WTWO) — UPDATE: As of 1:35 p.m., officials said power has been restored to the Clay County Dispatch Center.

PREVIOUS: An unplanned outage left the Clay County Dispatch Center without any business phones Sunday morning.

County Sheriff Brison Swearingen said all non-emergent calls for service in the county are affected. Instead, those with non-emergent calls for service are advised to visit the Clay County Dispatch Center lobby in person.

Those who cannot travel to the dispatch center in person can speak with an Indiana State Police dispatcher by calling (765)-653-4114.

For clarity, the Clay County Dispatch Center is still able to answer 911 emergency calls.

More updates are expected to come later.
