WABASH VALLEY, Ind. (WAWV/WTWO) – If you need advice on how to start a business or help with current businesses, a local chapter may be able to help.

A national organization called “SCORE” has chapters all across the country, which includes the Wabash Valley.

The chapters serve as a mentor-like organization for businesses active or retired.

SCORE Chapter Manager Bill Carper said their goal is to help others succeed, while the organization looks to recruit more volunteers.

“We do have people with extensive experience that might be able to assist you,” Carper said. “Certainly, if you want to become a volunteer, we have a lot of resources to help you learn more and help you be successful.”
