SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – UPDATE: The names of two other victims in the storm that spawned an EF-3 tornado that touched down in Sullivan have been identified.

A release states that Coroner Joe Coffman identified the three victims as Susan Kay Horton, 61, of Sullivan, and her son, Thomas Randall Horton, 38, of Sullivan.

Shane Goodman, 47, of Sullivan was identified as one of the deceased by Mayor Clint Lamb during a press conference Sunday afternoon.

As the city works to recover from the tornado, which destroyed a large portion of the south end of town, Lamb said there is currently not a need for more supplies and non-perishable foods. He thanked those who have given and said the need will continue but there is not enough space in the city/county for the amount of items coming in right now.

He also said the city of Sullivan was now officially in recovery mode but that search and rescue was still happening outside city limits.

Mayor Lamb said it is very important for officials to document the damage – any volunteers need to go to the Sullivan Civic Center first before going to the scene. 812-638-2023 is a good number to call for assistance if you are in need.

The 7 p.m.-7 a.m. curfew enacted last night for affected areas of Sullivan City will also be in place Sunday night into Monday morning.

Earlier Sunday, FEMA agents began assessing damage in the city and county.
