VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– One person is dead following a crash late Saturday night in Vincennes.
According to a release from Indiana State Police, Eric Boger was driving a pickup truck on College Avenue shortly before 11 p.m. when he began to turn left onto 15 1/2 Street. The truck was traveling too fast, and the vehicle flipped on the curb and came to a rest on the passenger side.
Boger was not wearing a seatbelt, and was pronounced dead at the scene by a Knox County Deputy Coroner. An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday.
ISP are continuing to investigate the crash. The Vincennes Police Department, Vincennes Fire Department and the Knox County Coroner also assisted in the response.
