TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Wednesday evening, Culinary Crossroads brought a collaborative dining experience to Terre Haute.

The “On the Road Dinner Series” event, spotlights Indiana’s culinary community,  with some of Terre Haute’s best local chefs. During the event, the featured chefs had to create a four-course menu with appetizers and wine pairings. The menu gives the guests a taste of what is served at the chef’s restaurants.

The featured chefs are Jeff Ford of J. Ford’s Black Angus, George Azar of The Saratoga Restaurant, Kris Kraut of Federal Coffee.

Director of Culinary Crossroads Larry Dickerson said Terre Haute was his top pick for this event.

“Terre Haute has a rich history of leadership in the state. And when you look at it and you see what’s happening over here at the educational institution, the business environments, just the overall community it obviously comes to the top of the list,” Dickerson said.

Culinary Crossroads will be making $500 donations to each chef’s favorite charity or cause of choice.
