Ollie’s Canine Campus hosting adoption event in hopes of finding animals their “furever” homes

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) —  Ollie’s Canine Campus will be hosting an adoption event this Saturday, September 11th. in cooperation with St. Francis K9 Rescue.

This event will begin at 10 am and have several different activates like K9 demonstrations from the Vigo County Sheriff’s Department.

Other organizations at the event will include the Clay County Humane Society and Dog It Dig It Rescue.

Tom Kuhl, owner of Ollie’s Canine Campus, said he is excited to see the dogs go to forever homes.

“We’re so excited. There’s so many good dogs that come through here and they just want a loving home. I mean through no fault of their own, you know they’re abandoned on the streets and every dog that comes here deserves a loving home,” Kuhl said.

Since the start of the pandemic, Ollie’s Canine Campus has adopted out over 200 dogs.
