TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The effort to bring a new Rural King location to Terre Haute’s southside has taken a step forward.
Vigo County Commissioners announced this week that the company has obtained the permits needed to begin construction on the new store, which will be located in the old K-Mart building on U.S. 41.
The new Hobby Lobby store has taken up the rest of the old K-Mart building.
Rural King’s opening was recently delayed due to ongoing material shortages and is now expected to open in the summer of 2024.
