TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A new event is coming to 12 points that will help showcase local vendors and businesses in the area.

The 12 Points Creators Market will run every Thursday starting May 12th from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. in front of Illumination Wellness. It will conclude on October 27th.

“We’re really seeing a big shift in the rise in entrepreneurs and this is to give vendors and local businesses a chance to share more about what they’re creating,” Brenna Deal, manager of the 12 Points Creators Market, said.

Deal said this is similar to a farmers market, to help encourage people in the area to support local businesses.

She said this will give local vendors a chance to showcase and sell their homemade goods such as baked goods, paintings, and more.

“This community, especially here in 12 Points, really has so much that is going on and so much that is being offered and we really wanted to showcase that and showcase the local entrepreneurs, showcase some special growers that are going to be coming on into the season and give our community another opportunity to shop local,” Deal said.

Deal said there will also be food trucks to enjoy.

She said if you are a business or vendor and want to participate, it is not too late to sign up. Deal said to message the “12 Points Creators Market” Facebook page to fill out an application.

Any vendor or business within 100 miles is welcome to sign-up to participate.
