VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A new school year means new challenges for some students. Fortunately, some Rose Hulman students are ready to provide assistance, especially when it comes to math and science homework.
It’s through their popular “AskRose” homework helpline. AskRose tutors guide students through homework problems to better help them understand. The tutors have access to textbooks and many other resources to help.
Assistance is available to students in grades 6th through 12th, by a simple phone call, chat, email and now through screen share at their website.
Training lead at AskRose Alisha Mastakar said they are happy to help.
“I know that it can be really really intimidating to like reach out and ask for help since I know that means that you’re admitting that you’re struggling. I promise all the tutors here are really nice and we all do this because we want to spread that love for learning,” Mastakar said.
Tutors will be available from 5-10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.
