Local News

GREENE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The body and vehicle of a missing Greene Co. man has been found in Limon, CO.

Danny Carpenter of Solsberry, IN, was reported missing on Oct. 19. A release from the Greene Co. Sheriff’s Department states initial evidence shows Carpenter may have been in the area for approximately two weeks.

Carpenter was reported to suffer from several medical issues and depression. In an interview with WTWO earlier this week, Carpenter’s sister Cindy shared that he was a kind man but was reserved and kept to himself.

An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday and GCSD is working closely with Colorado officials on further investigation in this case.
