TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — As a show of support and celebration of teachers and nurses across the country, the Metro Diner will be giving a discount throughout the week.
Any teacher or nurse can show a valid ID to receive a 10% discount for their in-restaurant meal throughout the week of May 8 to May 11.
The week is often recognized as Teacher Appreciation Week and also overlaps with Nurses Appreciation Week as many organizations and restaurants provide free or discounted services and goods to recognize the teachers and nurses in the community.
