MEROM, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — An annual festival is set to return this year to one Sullivan County town after being cancelled last year due to the pandemic.
The Merom Bluff Chautauqua will take place June 4-6 in Merom. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Merom Improvement Association.
“I think everyone’s excited and they’re glad we’re able to have it again and enjoy the fresh air and the sunshine, and just to enjoy being with everyone,” Merom Improvement Association secretary Rita Bean said.
Food vendors, crafts, entertainment and re-enactments are planned. Other events will include “Little Miss Chautauqua,” the annual chicken and porkchop dinner, fishing and archery tournaments and pro wrestling.
