TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Menards is collecting non-perishable food items for Terre Haute Catholic Charities this month.

Manager Bill Tegeler said Menards will serve as a drop-off site for items like cereal and soup.
Tegeler also said Menards’ grocery department has a variety of non-perishable items for immediate donation. It’s just one of the ways the local Menards enjoys helping the community.

“We do this periodically. We’ve done pet drives in the past and we’ve also done toys for tots so this is a new one for us and I think it’s a really good thing for Vigo County because I think there’s a lot of people right now, with the inflation and everything, it’s a good thing to try to help people out,” Tegeler said.

The food collection for Catholic Charities will continue through the month of March.
