VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Police officers responding to a medical call Monday morning at Town Place Suites in Vincennes quickly realized drugs were involved.

The officers made contact with Brian Robling in the hotel lobby, and said it was “apparent” he was under the influence of a controlled substance, according to the VPD.

While talking with Robling, officers learned there was another person, Erica Burnett, in his hotel room. Burnett was wanted on multiple outstanding warrants.

Following a search of the hotel room, Burnett and Robling were both arrested for possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance. Burnett will also face charges related to three outstanding Knox County felony warrants while Robling will face charges related to a misdemeanor warrant out of Henry County.
