GREENE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– A Bloomington man was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital after an accident in Greene County Sunday afternoon.
According to a release from the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, 40-year-old Sean Sargent was traveling south on U.S. Highway 231 when he lost control of his motorcycle and slide across the roadway near E. County Line Road just before 3:30 p.m. Sargent suffered serious road rash and possible fractures, and was taken to an Indianapolis hospital for his injuries.
The Taylor Township Fire Department and Greene County Ambulance also helped work the scene.
