TERRE HAUTE Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Catholic Charities in Terre Haute is excited to announce the return of an in-person soup bowl benefit this year!
Tickets are now on sale.
For every $30 ticket sold, Terre Haute Catholic Charities can provide as many as 120 meals to local families in need.
Besides lots of tasty soup and live entertainment, you’ll get a hand-crafted bowl made by local artists.
“We always have a couple of high school classes that we work with. We always have some great artists as well. They are very generous in that they give of not only their time, but the materails that go in the bowls as well,” said Development Manager of Catholic Charities Jessica Murphy.
The event is Saturday, February 4 at Maryland Community Church.
“It’s very interactive. So you get to go in. You get to select your bowl. You get to sit a table with your friends. Have endless soup from different restaurants and chefs here in the area,” added Murphy.
